How To use our Painting Estimator
CPM Professional Painting Pricing is based on 1 Coat on the ceilings (flat white), 2 Coats on the walls (low shine or eggshell), and 1 Coat on the trim and all doors. Standard size doors, windows, trim and closets are used when calculating your price.
Additional adjoining spaces such as hallway or stairway would not be included in this estimate. A standard stairway and small upper hallway typically add around $380 + HST to an estimate, including contractor-grade paint.
- Standard size for panel doors: 36 by 80 inches
- Standard size for baseboards: 3 to 5 inches tall
- Standard size of closet : A typical reach-in closet is approximately 6-feet long, 8-feet high, 24-inches deep with an 80-inch high door opening.
- Standard size of window frame: The most common widths for picture windows are 2 ft., 3 ft., 4 ft., 6 ft., and Standard picture window heights can range from 1 ft. to as tall as 8ft.
